I wasn't really around to improve my account for a while and i ended up with hundreds of millions of silver,so i decided to build up the silver further to get the legendary billionaire title just cause.
Again just cause, I thought to myself lets keep building silver till we get 1 billion then i can say i earned that title even though it's not that good.
What i want to know is why did they make the requirement for the title be aquire 888888888 silver instead of aquire 1 billion silver?
This isn't very important but i'm just wondering thats all.
Also just thought of this but why do gogames make packs and offers that are valued with 8's in them? why not a solid number like 1000? author: Uzumakia1 time: 2015-11-16 07:14:43
8's hold a place near and dear to the hearts of many japanese. Not only is it the number for good luck, but fortune and prosperity too. To place 8's like that in the number was probably their way of showing their culture through the game, and to pass it down to you as well. Or you know... I just made up all that on the spot, but it sounds quite plausible right? author: coro69 time: 2015-11-16 07:30:58

That does make sense if 8 is highly valued by the japanese, i didn't even know 8 was their lucky number, Perhaps they wanted to use 8 because it can also be the symbol for infinity if turned sideways.author: ardz101 time: 2015-11-16 07:41:18
because 8 is a lucky number heheheauthor: dionysvs time: 2015-11-16 07:43:18
actually 8 pronounces like "making money/fortune" in chinese, so over time the numbers 6 and 8 are like good fortune numbers, thats why you see it so much when it comes to gold spending and top upauthor: [email protected]time: 2015-11-16 08:00:31
No actually it's true what one of you said up there. It's similar to that ying yang shit. Cause no.8 visually it's like 2 closed circles drawn together. So it represent's entity and unity in general (in jap. culture of course). It goes hand in hand with that hard work mentality etc. So it does have a special meaning.
It's kind of cool, but hey we're not japanese... author: Kunpachi time: 2015-11-16 08:44:44
