What new feature thingy?

If you are referring to the stars on the parnter screen, those are for partner upgrades, which we won't see for a looooooooong time.

Oh hollow souls....you got to beat the espadas to get the souls...meaning complete all of espada 4 before you get get any hollow souls to use.

he might mean tht or the partner stars who knows i can onyl bea the first enemy of hte entire hollowsoul map in 1v1 not 5v5

That's for the Partner Upgrade system, which is only on CN servers. We won't be able to use those till we get that feature, which will probably be months upon months. No need to worry about those for now.

It just come out in CN, so as I said we won't see it for months more than likely, IF we even see it...
