how to make a gif avatar?

i have a gif for my avatar, but it says i/o error and it wont save it. any help?

was it file size that was the problem trying to do one now getting same error  or does it have something to do with how many frames?


edit: after changing the file size 8 times finally got it to work seems to be a file size issue

yeh, only some gifs work for this, idk why some dont, maybe the size of file
