If you had a fully modded Mugetsu, that would be 55% block that exceeds the 90% limit.

I'm gonna guess his skill has block, too. Block master Mayuri.

Could be a good character depending on what his skill and growth rates are. Also does he surpass the 90% block limit himself? It just says all allies.

Yes, when they say all allies, it includes themselves.
That much block on your whole team is going to be harder to break if everyone has block stones. lol.

Longer battles maybe? Or maybe just more interesting. X)

That said, his Fortify with his own Zanpakuto is incredibly lousy. Chance to restore 5 Fury when attacked...

To me he seems like a newb bait like Hisagi...

Mayuri is hard to evaluate. Doesn't really do anything by himself, but does give a whole lot of boosts to your team. He can be extremely tanky, but I am not sure it is enough.

the shield has a rate of 1% of mayuri's atk/current hp/max hp (does not absorb dmg)
if you don't do that dmg the shield stays

it's not the hp for the shield, the shield is just a shield to block 1 hit (i am quite sure, just like Yhwach) so they could put in any % for it and it doesn't matter ^^
