Really??? Nah doubt it. Can't be that much. Hikifune, B.renji, Ichibe, for 18k? I was expecting it to be like 12k.

20k point partners = 20k gold
however if you keep refreshing for the red packets each 1 you open specifically gives you mostly 50 points out of 10 opened ones, 100 or so out of 15 opened ones, 150 out of 20 opened ones, and the rare ones 500 points out of who knows how many i opened to get just 2 of them
so if you do it right about 16k-17.5k gold per 20k partner
P.S refresh until you get 3-4 bags in a single instance
So unless you are buying katen which gives you 40k points right off the bat for 2 partners or goodies/mod fragments it is not worth it unless you want plenty of extra stones and mod exp cards along with a few hogu talismans
combined with the free coupons you get from visored revenge/the 30k spent for all the treasures

Wow, you sure? I thought hikifune or maybe ichibe would be like 10k. Didn't know it was gonna be that expensive. As for red packets, I'm asuming you don't always get red packets. So far I've gotten 2 red packets on my free tries, I mean not really gotten them, but when I check my bag they are there. So that's why I was intrigued as to how much points they would give me, and how much gold I'd need for a 20k partner.

As for refreshing to get 3-4 bags in a single instance, do yuou mean get it all3-4 in a oneclick open? I've only seen one red packet appear on every reset since I havent refreshed. Didn't know 3-4 could appear in one go.

believe me ive wasted 60k gold total
yesh just keep refreshing over and over until you get 3-4 red packets per instance
for example 1pack will appear alone and in another slot it will have 2 or 3 extra ones then just one click open to get them all.

you can go ahead and try and tell me just how much gold it costs you
it really varies depending on what the packets give you but its well over 15k gold

12k gold means 2000 x 6 times topup. From Supervalue Gift you get 30% rebate which is 3600 gold. Then from New Year Fund you got 500-1000 gold back. It gave me 600 gold the most so that's 3600 gold. 12000+3600 from 30% rebate+3600 from New Year Fund = 19200 gold. Not to mention for that amount I topped out I got like 30-40 Red Packets which gave me mostly 100 points. If you get 2 Red Packets on average from 20 clicks, which is unlikely, so yeah you'll get 40 Red Packets. You jest need 800 points from the packets to reach 20k points.

OH I don't have all that gold to spare. I believe your word. I had no idea they'd be so expensive. More expensive than regular price. I can't think of anyone trying to get one of those partners without getting the 40k zampaktou first.

It would have been cheaper doing 2000 gold a day during the 2nd tab duration [attach]11894[/attach]hence why he said 2k X 6 = 12k although you only have till the reset and next reset to make those purchases for the bonus gold^^^
if you were to top up now it would still cost you $250-300 alone just for 1 partner including the 30% rebate
imo wait for a better event.
20k gold wasted on a 12k worth partner isnt worth it at all with 20k gold total you would be 4k away form purchasing 2 partners worth 12k each or senjumaru herself

My advice to you is top up 2k right now 2k at reset
if you want top up 12k total and keep the gold for an event were they are worth 12k each

Good point. I guess this is for those who can top that amount. For people who have like 8k gold saved or can top max 8k gold, this event is not good.

12k gold. But you need to top up 2000 gold for 6 times. The New Year fund DOES NOT reset on daily basis. It's unlimited. But you need to make sure that you topup 2k gold a time and claim the New Year Fund afterward because they do not stack. Then you can topup another 2k gold until you reach 12k gold. But be sure to claim your fund before doing another topup. Another thing is if you're using One Click Open which is gonna cost you 600 gold per click, then you're gonna basically need 600 gold x 34 clicks = 20,400 gold/points without taking into consideration of the amount of Red Packets you're gonna get. TL;DR, from my personal experience 12k gold is enough for you to get any partner for 20k points.

The fund does not reset on daily basis. You can basically topup 2k gold for 100 times in a single day and still be able to claim your 500-1000 gold for 100 times.

its better to just top up but not use the gold since its a waste of gold for a 20k partner thats actual value is 12k

12k gold is enough to get the partner. That is total top up too, I'm guessing. Still a bit too expensive, for those who can top up to 8k.

ah, now this makes sense, very clever. But don't you get points for topping up? If you topped 2k X 6 as you all say, Do you get any extra points? Or is the point solely based on red packets and gold spent?

you only gain points for buying the one click open all and 10 points per refresh
the packets are just a small bonus
so no bonus for topping up other than collecting your espada treasure lol..
but yes i recommend topping up 2k at a time as much as you want/need and keep all the gold for
a better event

Well that sucks. Can't imagine anybody topping such amount and then getting a 20k partner at a much higher price than normal.

its more catered towards people that already have gold or are topping up 40k worth for katen
to then use the 40k points on partners pr hogus/talismans/ partner mod fragments

But remember christmas event. Some said that event sucked when it started. Though shortly after event started I noticed the lvl 9 stones and great prices for the 20k partners. You could've gotten it with 8k gold, plus you got level 9 stones. Pretty good event. Many realized this too late.

But this event on the contrary, we realize it now, it sucks, lol.
