Yo! I'd thought I'd start a Anime Discussion thread. So I'll post a few topics for us Anime Fans to talk about and give our general opinion on.

#1: I'm currently reading the Akame Ga Kill manga (first one I've actually pursued) since a friend of mine who is also reading it told me how much it differed from the anime. Man he was right. So has anyone else read the manga or wants to know how it differs?

#2: I recently finished Code Geass! I watched it because a friend on this forum always yell at me to watch it. XD It was very good, and what did you think of it?

#3: INVISIBLE DEATH HANDS!! (IDHs for short. Well that's what a friend and I call them) Elfen Lied! If you've seen it then you know just how it is. What was your take on the backstories of the characters and the character development?

3 - the ending is kinda like sharman king. I would like to see what is next. Also, she (the girl with amnesia) reminds me of -says it quitely- crazy yuuko from mira mira. Like you said, further development and proper backstory would make it even more awesome !!!

From what I know Elfen Lied pretty much ends there in the anime and Manga.
Though the manga has one more chapter I believe after the anime where Lucy goes kinda psycobitch crazy and Kota kills her.

Code Geass is very good and I highly recommend it to anyone.

1- after seeing the anime i just wanted to forget Akame Ga Kill ever happen... but the manga is better for what you have read? I maybe consider reading if is good ^^

2- Code Geass i really loved that anime, Lelouch is one of those characters that really show how great a main character can be. I came from hating him in the 1ยบ season to respect and feel bad for him by the end. Talking about the ending wow maybe one of the best ways to end a anime i ever seen *-*

3- Elfen Lied ... i know that the backstory of Lucy was supposed to make me feel bad for her and show how cruel humanity can be but seriously i can't feel empathy for her after her actions during the whole show... for the rest of the cast i really think they did a decent job development most of them.

Yeah IKR?! Fcking killed of Tatsumi, I was like: "What the Absolute Fuck!" if that was Tyrant Infused Tatsumi he would have beaten that thing down easy! Also like to call his new evolution of Incursio Hollow Tatsumi. ^.^

I hope they remake it once the Manga is done.

Pretty much after the Seriyu Mine final fight is when things go FMA 1.
Mine and Tatsumi get together right after they leave the city. (Mine does not die either in the manga. She is currently comatose though)

Tatsumi goes freaking hollow mode with a new incursio evolution and is so freaking OP! Taking on Esdeath and Budo (Also Falcon punches Esdeath. ^.^) almost simulanously.

Kurome and Wave get together as well ,and Kurome does not die. Her and Wave defect from the empire.

In Code Geass Lelouch in fact did not die at the end. He has a 'code' (Ability to live forever like C-2) and a Geass. Thus the name Code Geass for the anime. So happy ending!

I hope a better studio remakes it after the manga is finished haha. I rarely like any of White Fox's anime adaptions of manga that I like. I'm seriously worried they're gonna screw up Re:Zero. Probably the best time loop manga I've read since Steins;Gate, but it's not finished yet so I'm guessing White Fox will make their own crappy ending to the anime >.<

Though like most fighting anime the foes keep getting stronger and stronger as the MC grows stronger.

Though I will say Itsugo was manhandled here.

His fight with res ulq was much painful. Hell, without zangetsu. He would have died a long time ago.


The end result for all op mc is naruto and sasuke status. By literally becoming gods

Really? so C.C was realy talking with Lelouch in the endding scene ... well i'm a little disappointed with that ending to be honest, is not that i hate Lelouch is just that i picture him as someone who died to create a better world to his sister to live, making his dead so impatefull. Seeing that he survived makes me a little disappointed. Oh well personal perferences i guess

The only Manga i would read however are the absolute mainstream ones, being One Piece and Bleach

However, the first 2 anime's stated i've heard great things about, so I guess that's nice to know that-that is reassured here

Got a friend who is busy quite often.
He got me into anime with Trigun, and him and I watch anime together for a long time, but eventually I outran him in all the anime I was watching.

1- watched it, loved the fact that everyone died. My favorite kind of endings ( i rarely read manga so i haven't read it)

2- I dropped at after season 2. MC showed 0.0 development ..... same crazy blabla shit about saving the world while he destroyed half the earth, killed 5.6 billion people, burned half the houses on earth.

I loved code geass, it's one of the best animes I have watched and I found the whole all hail britannia thing to be funny since I am a catholic living in Northern Ireland.  I have not gotten into akame ga kill yet but I have seen elfien lied and I did like it, though it has been a while since I last watched it and I don't rememeber some things.

I like ending where most of people die too as long it is done correctly. With Akame Ga Kill so many deaths were soooo unnecessary... it reminded me Another ending and Corpse Party, they just killed off characters for shock factors...

If it is in Dubbed, watch it dubbed.
If it is only in subbed, watch it subbed.

At the end I looked up. Turned of the T.V and said "That fucking sucked..."
Turned to my computer and looked for the next chapter of the manga.

Hmn i watched it subbed, in my country only a few animes got dubs Dragon Ball, Fullmetal alchemist, Pokemon, Yugioh, Naruto, One Piece and Blacker than Black.
