I have a question, does hikifunes atk buff stack with white ichigos atk buff? also should my friend get white ichigo or kensei if he is planning to get b.renji.

And I think shini kensei or isshin is better than white ichigo for pve. Isshin has void, which is good for pvp too.

Nope, I dont think so (they are the same buff type, the later one replaces the previous one), that's why I make sure hiki's buff goes first, and white ichigo's buff last, for pve.
