I have a dilemma on my hands that I hope you all could help with. I'm a free-to-play player that has enough vit to get Unohana Kenpachi. The dilemma is that I was actually waiting to see if I could obtain Isshin from UBP. Now with such a good partner popping up I need to figure some things out. So here's the details:

I have no intention to spend any sort of money on a partner or zanpakuto, I'm doing the complete free route.
Zanpakuto: Kazeshini/Zabimaru (pvp/pve)
Formation: 1-2-2/0-3-2 and 1-2-2 (pvp/pve)
Partners:
H.Ichigo/Exclusive Skill Ikkaku/Main/T1 Kisuke/Tavern Gin - Can make two more partners t1 with kisuke's help (pvp)
Regular skill Ikkaku/Main/Tavern Zaraki/T1 Kisuke/C.Orihime change out Zaraki for H.Ichigo (pve)

I'm thinking either to change out Gin with Unohana if I get her or build something new with Isshin if he ever came about. Like 1-3-1 or switch him with Ikkaku and Gin with Tavern Aizen.

Let me know your thoughts.

isshin has issues man im sure retsu would help you more

What would those issues be? I need more to go on seeing as this will most likely be the only UBP I do.

Isshin DID get a nerf... but even still... He's very strong, quite fast, has a wonderful skill... Mine is T1 and about 220k speed... middle rows fall before me, If he skills before your opponent their assaulters are almost useless against him due to his void, He's useful in PVE too as he grants combo rate to all your assaulters (more than shini kensei does) his 190% growth rate isn't terrible either... Did he get a nerf? yes he did, but even still, he's viewed as more valuable than yama is by GG as he isn't given away like a cheap hooker after she hits 40... plus if you get his exclusive skill (I know it's a long time to get it) his nerf is effectively gone. Retsu is a beast for sure, but IMO, Isshin has more utilitity

hell if I could I would just get her and add her in my formation wiyh taverb retsu and keep staring at my 2 retsu's in action ..... the dream

another point is you don't know when isshin will appear so you might miss a great chance.....
so instead of hoping for gold just grab the silver

oh god... senju is my jam... so much want for her... once my shinso gets paid off I'm starting to save for her...

I know all about his nerf and he still is better than what I have so I still want him. And I need someone that can go from pve to pvp and back again without because I have no space to more partners. Retsu is extremely tempting though because she's here now. Tough choices.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that as well but with how they've been repeating UBP partners and zanpakutos I have a bit of hope. And I have a stop gap measure right now until I decided waiting is too much.

never make impulse decisions on stuff like that... decide who would help you more, then go for it... I've made many bad decisions, lol it sucks 2 months later when you realize you messed up

Unohana Kenpachi good for both PVP and PVE so you won't really need to change her out, if you build her right with a high crit rate she can pretty much be a one man army on her own. and again she really good for Hollow King with her invinc on non-boss fights. she has a good Exclusive Skill that turns her from a one man army to a all around good support and can combo really well with most support. I can't really say much since I don't have her from personal experience piloting someone who did, she great overall for a pre 0 division partner.

On Isshin who is someone I do have experience with is a good partner but need a lot of mentenace to be a major powerhouse of a partner and has a lot of cons that go against him. his biggest downside is most supporters in the game will simply outspeed him and or shut him down completely (exp. Hikifune, Senjumaru, Shinso Gin, Yamamoto if his fury restrict hits him, etc). he still good for PVE and PVP if you want him but I would suggest making him the first person you get there exclusive for.

that my 2 cents on this and hope what info I did give will help you in your decision.

That's how i run him. moderatly stacked, but nothing pulled off my other partners but for level 108 (114 pre reincarnation) i think that's decent

VIP8, Isshin, Tenjiro, and Shinso speed roughly 215k All T1 except Soph[attach]13959[/attach]

very nice, you got the 1 thing I lack; fury building

Hiki - 698k speed
Tenji - 367k
Oetsu - 172k (currently, ew)
And a whopping 151k on the main; neither him or tenji even have agi stones currently :/
