So why is it everyone thought he was weak? No, Koga is great as an assaulter.
It's just nobody likes Koga.

The other reason is that he is mainly pvp oriented. You would have to trade for Renji's death skill when we are expecting the assaulter is going to die anyway in the higher ranks.
Sure, you can put wisdom defense on him, but you have to actually have the stones for it. If you can get him to survive, that would be great, but it means more money.
