keep in mind that even if they only said its for daylight savings, they may also be making backups as well. its the only explanation i can think of for the length of time its taking since it really doesnt take that long to change on a linux multibox server

5 Hours and 41 minutes down so far... At least you should state how much time will the servers be down,so people can go DO other things and not wait for server thinking that it will come up in 1 hour....

I don't really mind if they want to do some maintenance or anything within any day. But not during the event is still going!!! What will they do if we can't get the rewards for our Ultimate BP event?? Will they give another extra day for the event? I have another 200++ vitality when this maintenance start, and now i can't even spend it for the event!!! Besides, with that amount of vitality I can get into top 10 for the event. How does anyone can compensate that? by giving a 50 coupons when i can get 5 lvl 3 stones??
A box of lvl 3 stones cost more coupons than the compensation. I'm a f2p player and I don't hv that much coupons to spend, so this is kind of crucial for me. And yes, i'm more than upset when this happen during this time

Maybe more stuff is being fixed along with the time stuff, there was a lot of bugs with this game that needed to be fixed.

Well most MMOs don't lie and say they are taking servers down to adjust their clocks especially seeing as they can do that without even taking the servers down.

They should have just been honest and said "We're taking the servers down for a while to perform a patch"

I think they are ninja merging servers or getting them ready for it IMO.

on this server, they play in about a hundred and is fairly light as opposed to a server one server offylike of WoW where i played with thousand of people and only one admin and one gm doing this procedure, it was already over.

I think 1st year college students are running this game in US/EU. I am lost for words when it comes to describing how pathetic their support and managing skills are. Game breaking bugs have been fixed / pvp and pve cross server merges / character retrievals and modifications / compensations / updates and anything else I am missing, can be fixed in less than 8 hours from the moment they close the servers for maintenance.

I am getting the impression they spend the money all every day of their lives, servers open automatically and events are pre-set to run for weeks in advance and finaly when something needs to be done, they close the server for "maintenance" and then only start working on whatever needs to be done. No test servers to update and test bugs? Just copy paste patches? Google translate?

Its absolutely pathetic and this is the kind of stuff that causes people to find a new pastime. Lets face it, this is just a pastime since no one can play this hardcore because you can only do so much in one day, even when using max chances on everything including gold resets lol

In mu opinion, its because they have time to do it. As it was mentioned earlier about server being almost fully automatic (events and etc.) i got the impression that this game is like a secondary project for those guys. This game really doesn't get the attention it needs. It only does when they have the free time and so we have a maintenance.

And now about the time it takes. Since attention given for repairs and so on is not regular there are tons of stuff to do when real maintenance comes, especially if they are getting ready for server merge at the moment. Because something like this will surely cause a bunch of bugs and instabilities. To correct all that time is needed and lets plus all the time they did not do a thing. So there you have it.

This game idea is really good, but there are no idea that can bloom fully if its left for the free time and automatized processes...

I was talking about companies that always tend to screw up during maintenance saying it would last an hour or so and something goes wrong and they'll extend it for another 12 or so, or when they do release early its filled with bugs. People who have played games before should be getting used to this xD

yesterday was no Event Hollow, I lost 30 million, again today to lose 30 million and still remain without 4 stones 6 level and not give title in the first place on bp ivent. (I spent more than 1700 gold for this event that would get first place)
and received compensation of 3 million 150 coupons and 50vit?!
I received a total of
-1550gold/coupon
-27mil sil (and if today will not Event Hollow will be -57mil)
-4 jades lvl 6
-titles
good work!
(I also tried to clean the cache and turn off the plugin as it is written in one of the sections of the forum, but it did not solve the problem, whereas the US server can go and everything works fine)
