You should decide your self. But my suggestion is not to top-up large amounts of gold till ggs begin to actually work on this game. This game is half dead for few years now, if your gona top-up then do it only on the stuff that you truly need. For example: equipment-set, zanpakuto like zangetsu/muramasa during gift boxes event for 5.5k spend and save 1-2k gold to reset partners and buy protection stones - this should be enough.
