Yeah im not sure about those myself, i guess since in gold its 20 per reset, maybe 20 modify items?

ok so i have been playing with the mods and stuff. from what i understand so far is you need to have 20 gold or coupons you can adjust the mods you already have and can revert them back if you dont get the mods you want. i keep getting stun reductions on my tosen.... pissing me off a lil bit but oh well lol. it also takes 10 to 20 of the advanced mod frags(not sure which it is since i didnt see how many i had before i done a few adjustmeants) you can get in the taverns above the red reishi chests. and everything once you get it from the tavern the red reishi chest and advanced mod frags are in your back pack. i cant say anything else about the mods tho. i have only a step one shunsui and tosen so far. need to save some more up so i can get one of them to step 2.
EDIT. i left this out cause i just tried it but you can do the advanced mod thinng to event partners as well. i tried it with kirinji and it worked perfetly. gave me crap stuff but it worked XD

You can't really put a price on it, because the chance of getting red reishi is random, could take you 3k golden reishi or might take you 7k, Depends on your luck

150 gold reishi for one red reishi chest. save up 7k gold reishi you can get 47 to 50 chests (i was in the 40s cause i forgot how many i really one so) and for every chest you have a chance. its RNG at this point cause you wont know how many red reishi you will get since its between 3 and 10. but i had gotten from all of mine would be around 487 which was enough for step one of tosen and shunsui. and step one costs 200 red reishi. step 2 is 500. so your gonna need alot of gold reishi and silver.

yep. phase one is the getting basically half of their new stats. phase 2 completes the stats giving them the rest and turning them to a different color. blue to purple - purple to gold and gold to red. buuuut since i dont have a phase 2 yet i cant confirm on if they ever get a 6th or 7th mod.

yep lol. just think. someone like me who has a mainly tavern team. (tosen, shunsui and H. Ichi.) its gonna kill me. XD then again. if i just do ES and ryoka for a change it might help in the long run.

it replaces the mod. so pick the mod you dont think you would need. you can always revert them back to the original mod.

He'sa vip 0 with a pure t1 tavern byakuya that has more than 1.2m bp :O
The deathmod wrecks havoc in void region and in csb he kills almost everyone with his attack or deathmod xD

Yea, he isn't red yet...
That was phase one, next phase costs 2.5x the price of phase one. (500 red reishi for 2nd upgrade)
The 2nd upgrade gives even higher stats + an upgraded name colour, phase one does not upgrade colour^^

Oh, and btw.
Attack doesn't matter with that vg <3

its RNG. it scales from 3 to 10. either you werent lucky enough or i wasnt XD only thing i can say.

There wouldnt even be a need for something too fancy just growth rates +0,8-1 and stats + 500-1000 would be more than enough :/ Originally red partners would still be overall better and gold would at least feel like an upgrade over new improved tavern partners with their crazy growth rates and decent stat increase.

i spend 6000 reishi and get 361 red so in total i guess for 1 full upgrade its around 15k reishi gold for 700 red and full upgrade

They haven't updated the game so that all partners have 7 mods yet. Yachiru still only has 4 mods after doing the phase 2 advance.

Already got full sets of shinjumarus equips on all 5, so equip sets are useless, as for accessories not really useful since im going for 130s only. As for stones im guessing we willl trade blue stones for red, so better not trade for coups
