It really isn't a big difference, when i upgraded the H Ichi the total bp increase wasn't that big either :p
About a 50-60k bp increase total... You'd think it was more, but thats all you get for about a billion silver...

No, there wont be any huge difference. I've done Kisuke, Stark and Ichigo to phase 2 - they do not change much at all.

At phase 2 they become around mid-ss event partners stat-wise. Buf have inferior talents, stars and other stuff. The answer is simple: Base growth > growth rate.

The big difference should be the growth rates so isn't better to take a low level tavern partener and level him up after the RR upgrade?

at first glance, yes, your right, but elsewhere, any time you have an increase or decrese in growth rates, it is retroactive

yes, but you have to do it manual, you can't do the all swap for it last i heard if that makes sense
