Hello, I am prob not the first to mention this or will I be the last ! Now there are just a few things I would like to suggest about guilds to the game players and developers in general.
1. Open a suggestion for game improvment forum.
(1a. Why ? Well who better to let you know how your game can be improved then the mass players to spend time on it each day ? 1b. There maybe alot of nice suggestions that it would not hurt to hear about. Why ? A happy gamer is a paying gamer, also a happy gamer may recruit friends which also improves $. )
2. Guild Mail, would be a nice improvement over having to friend every one and then mail them one by one. (2a. Perk for this little small feature ? Well it may help the guild leaders be alittle more happy in game. Be easier to talk to all members at once. Will help organize better for events. Over all improvement. 2b. Why should this be important to you the developers and owners ? The golden rule is a happy gamer is a paying gamer. Most guild leaders 9 times out of 10 is a payer.)
3. Guild pay out. Like your rank pay system, add this to the guild feature. Example the higher level a guild the more the pay out. The more donations made by each member the more they get from the pay out. Also participating in guild events will add some extra to. (3a. Why make guilds more desirable to players. More active guild members and more reason to keep improving the guild. More reason to play. )
4. Promotions within the guild would be nice as well. A feature that lets the guild leader make 3 or so officer postions with varying degree's of permissions and pay. The top post being Vice. (4a. Why ? Well why not ?)
5.Guild attendance, members who contribute to the guild and play atleast 2.5h a day will get a gold star at the end of the week there pay out will be x4 if they attended all 7 days. Like your daily sign in point system but to the guild. (5a. Why ? Explained below. )
6. Guild raffle. Once a week a guild raffle is held for each of the clans. Offering some varrying decent prizes. How ever the catch is this. Throught the week guild attendance will add a small % of winning chance's to this raffle. (6a. Why ? All this will help keep the guild active and a active guild is a playing guild, who accidentally might spend a little $ to help along. )
7. How about 1 or 2 more guild events. Reason check 6a

I just had a conversation with some of my guildies and guild shop came up. Another way to get guild members to be more active and contribute. The higher the guild the better the items etc. Can spend merits to purchase the items author: boringstuff time: 2014-7-21 12:37:56

Would be nice if the people in a guild could store there gear mats in the warehouse and be able to distribute to other's or swap mats not needed for those needed. A guild function like this would go along ways in helping out active players. No this will not cut the profit margin. It will simply allow guild members to swap mats they have all ready for those they need. Can even put a limit on this function to reduce those trying to take advantage. A more gold v silver ratio would be a good function also. Not talking about this jigokucho thing neither.
Look at perfect world profit margin for example.
What they have is a gold(zen for them) auction, which players can sell gold for in game currency from other players set at a price the players set which usaly refelcts that servers econmy. Now you would think this would cut profits, but actually it improves it. That is why perfect world racks in millions a year. If that does not hit your fancy then try gold sell discounts once every month or two. Knock off 20% or so and you will see another profit margin improvement factor. Another good trick to improve profit is to offer buy 1 get one deals meaning if I by one thousand gold I get two thousand gold. Perfect world, WoW, Rage of Behamut, Vallyrie Crusade. R-Tech, Vertual games, Evony, and many others use this approach. Do not take my word for it, do a little foot work and you will see the results of these in profit. Mostly they understand that a happy player is a spending player. More items in shop would not hurt nether. Half those games listed are not even 2D.
