If you could get 500 more gold then you can activate shinigami agent for 1 month and for first activation of it you get kirinji who is cheapest red partner in game and he is pretty good for his price, other than that I doubt that there is anything good for that small amount of gold

Accumulate coupons and spend during Visored Revenge
spend them to buy stones set for 1200 (with a fyry stone)

you can buy a set of ultimate armor (2000 gold) in Treasure Box (It is now going). I do not remember exactly, but to open the chest will have level 100.

if you can afford a cyclone set (level 100 ultimate) that would be your best bet... something that you can keep upgrading to keep up with vips
