Was wondering if the free ichigo u get on the 7th day vanguard or assult?if he is an assult is he better than renji?
And I know the 17 tips say you should save ichigo till week 2 to open and it counts for 1/2 of the golden characters... but how are u supposed to get the 2nd one since you have to be lvl 70

Assaulter, generally he is much lousier than Renji.
But he is useful in certain circumstances (eg. Your pvp strategy is to hit enemy assaulter).
For some players, they could get to lv70 at 5th or 6th day in the 2nd week.

even if you reach level 70 though , isnt it really expensive to get an s rank?

You need to save some silver to get them.
After deduct those free reishi, I guess you will still need 30m~40m.
