How do i get purple souls other than playing rock paper scissors which is riggeddddedi swear every time i lose

Janken is not rigged its pretty simple actually
There is a chance of winning 1st/2nd/3rd battle, the chance decreases from one to the other and the rest is up to your luck
Right now i don't remember the percentage but it's not too high either, so if you lose its just bad luck keep trying you will eventually win

I haven't played for a while but you probably can get from some events like i believe there was an event where you could trade points for many things including golden and purple reishi, probably from those events that you get kind of random reward
Also if you dismiss a purple partner from your team you will get some of the souls you spent on him back
