Edited by X-Zero13 at 2017-4-18 12:26

I know that at this point, there's probably no one on the US- and/or EU-servers who already owns Muken Aizen, but everyone can check his stats, mods, skill etc. so I'm sure ppl have already made up their opinions and thoughts about him.

Even tho it'll take some time for me, I intend to get him. But right now, I also saved up enough vit for ubp but I'm not quite sure what to use it for (the only thing I know I'd definetely get would be tensa, but tensa is probably highly unlikely to appear in ubp (yet)).
Since I'm reluctant to change my supports or vanguard, the only partner-ish stuff I'd be interested in would be a better Assaulter for PVP, as #1 damage dealer (I'm using Yama atm).
So yeah, I thought I could use ubp if a good Assaulter shows up, but since I know I'll go for Muken Aizen eventually, I don't wanna spend my precious vit on a partner that I'll swap out for Muken later on (on a side note: I'm VIP0, so saving the vit for UBP is a hard and long piece of work for me and I don't intend to save vit for UBP again after I used my current vit).

So I was wondering the question I wanna ask you guys here and now: do you think there is any better Assaulter for PVP than Muken Aizen and if yes, who is it (and why?)?
(could the answer depend on my formation, tactics and priorities for Assaulters as well?) For the sake of convenience, let's just assume that ANY partner could show up in the next UBP. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

Thanks in advance.
Edit: I'm using Sode, my formation is a halfway balanced 1-2-2 and my main Dmg comes from my Assaulter (in which I focus dmg-wise and which is not my main).

of course it somehow depends on formation, if you are for example hyorin user who stacks vanguard and completely neglects his assaulters then some character with great death mod (koga or b.renji) could be better for you, but only if you wouldn't put absolutely any work in assaulters, in every other case muken is best partner which f2p can get and only assaulters who can compete with him are yhwach (he can compete but muken is better and no chances for lord mustache to appear in ubp) and bankai yama (no chances for him in ubp as well)

I'm a Hyroin user, and the ONLY love I show my assaulters is for PVE...  Koga is the dream in my world for sure

So dmg is highest priority in my assaulter, tho I really know to appreciate Yama's fury restriction and burn too. I don't consider Muken's skill's additional buffs and debuffs as beneficial as Yama's... (but ofc, with his damage, I might not need them anyways).I got B renji in my 1st UBP and ofc I'm keeping him for PVE, but it seems in PVP, Yama is still better than him.

the game started on 2014 and after one and half year they released free yama, you are vip0 and aiming for muken? even if you have him you cant make him fast

There's prob only 3 other people to compare with for Muken Aizen: Koga Kuchiki, Yhwach & Bankai Yamamoto for PVP.
For PVP of course:

Best stats - Bankai Yamamoto

Best Character Build - Yhwach

Best Skill - Koga Kuchiki. Debatable with Bankai Yamamoto's due to defence drop.

Best Mods - Bankai Yamamoto. Debatable with all others (Yhwach's shield, Koga's Muitlate & Aizen's HP Regeneration).

Best Bonds - Muken Aizen. Debatable with Bankai Yamamoto due to the ability of focusing the whole enemy team.

If you noticed, Yhwach hasn't really been mentioned in any, that's because he's an OVERALL great, so not exactly the best in any spgecific category but he's not bad in any either, he's great in everything, so your overall best pick would be Yhwach if you're looking for that kind of assaulter who gives you a bit of everything.
Yamamoto is there to be your High Attack/High Speed assaulter, same as Koga.

Aizen is the High Attack assaulter mixed in with tankiness, not too great in the speed aspect so he can lack here in PVP aspects, but his tankiness will come out and make up for the lack of speed ^^

So really, your ASBOLUTE PVP pick would definitely be Bankai Yamamoto, but all 4 of these picks are close in the PVP department, they all come close to each other in who's better than another or who has more uses in PVP etc.
Muken Aizen is absolutely fine to pick up, if that's your problem or something, no idea Only reason you can call him worse than Bankai Yamamoto in the PVP category is simply due to Bankai Yamamoto having more PVP aspects with him (Speed stats, skills that help to defeat the enemy team directly rather than self buffs and mods that are PVP oriented) ^^

TL;DR - Bankai Yamamoto is the best PVP character so far

Thing is, I don't WANT to make him fast. Since my pvp formation/-tactic includes my Assaulters and vg to be as slow as possible, Muken Aizen being slow actually plays in my favor .
(...until I face opponents with the ignore invincibility mod; then I'd be a little screwed. But I think I'm still quite far away from playing in that league.)

I'm not too surprised about what u said about Yhwach and Bankai Yamamoto, but I'm really surprised to see you mention Koga as well. I always thought that his skill seems pretty nice and the stats are decent too, but he doesn't seem to be a rather popular/common partner in the game.

So I already played with the thought of getting him if he shows up in UBP (I think, he's still the most likely one for that from the ones u mentioned, considering that there were already partners like Shini Kensei, Hisagi or Ichibe in UBP).
So u say it wouldn't be too much of a bad choice to get Koga even if I plan to get Muken Aizen too, yes?

note about Yama's fury restrict...   as a Noza user, I love it when he gets fury restricted as it's a HUGE boost to me and takes away the worst part of Noza...  just my 2 cents

0.o was that irony? Or do u really NOT want him to skill?

Just to throw in a different opinion on that: with Yama's fury restriction, I once defeated a Noza that I couldn't defeat without the fury restriction... so I'd think Noza's skill does have it's benefits.

it does have it's advantages, but really, mine is HARD stacked and it's very often that he is the last one alive on my team...  that keeps him skilling every round, and if your vang is still alive that means he keeps skilling against someone that is fossilized dealing no damage which can easily land me in the losing side of the fight, even if he grossly overpowers my foes...  yes, I'd MUCH prefer if i could forever fury restrict him...  in fact that's the main reason I want his exclusive skill...  well, that and the fact I can drop my Cute Orihime for PVE at that point easily

Yep he's the most likely to come in UBP than all of those, thought i wouldn't say anytime soon as he's definitely one of the best assaulters you can obtain as of right now

It's definitely not a bad choice at all to get Koga, or any of these, as long as he isn't getting replaced! ^^

By now, I think one could actually keep Koga beside Muken Aizen. If Muken Aizen's raw power isn't working, one could try with Koga for a more tactical approach.
(I also remembereed that with a fury booster - which I usually have in formation - Koga skills every round...)

Well then, he could be a great pick for you! Especially if he already fits in your kind of formation ^^

Just be prepared for all the possibilities you have taken into consideration, or at least try to.
