I have a quest to do the spirit forge and I have a item at lv 51 (current lv) and every time I go to click it for spirit forge it says only equipment above lv 50 can spirit forge. What am I not getting right for the spirit forge to work?

shadowkill, hollowfire, etc can only b spirit forged
