Exploit, bug, hack or intended. Take it however you want - This will purely teach you how come we say "Use Toshiro to break void"

For starters, here's his skill:

Glacial Realm
Attacks all enemies, dealing 100% damage
Freeze enemies for 1 round, increase targets' damage recieved by 40%
Reduce all enemies fury by 50, silence 3 random enemies for 1 round
Restore own fury by 50.

Freeze it says, but the hell is freeze actually ?

Freeze is a debuff that works, pretty much as you would expect it to do.
Here's an example of partners being freezed:

2 things can happen here.

1: If they're attacked, they will be taking 40% more damage, thus breaking the freeze.
2: If they're not attacked, the freeze will act like a stun. Making them use their turn to break the freeze.

That's how Toshiro works in normal PvP.

That's also how Toshiro works in PvPE (PvE)

The difference is, in PvPE events. Ryoka, Evil Spirit, Void - their speed is very low. So all our partners will use their skill before the enemy gets their turn

You might ask: How do we freeze them then ?

You make Toshiro go last.

If Toshiro is the last person to skill, nobody will be attacking the ice block to break the freeze.

Let's take Void as an example

Bankai Rukia here has 54.612 speed.
If you have a Toshiro with let's say 100.000 speed, while the rest of your partners are at 50.000 speed
Toshiro would skill, Bankai Rukia would use her turn to break free from the ice.

TL;DR:
Toshiro freezes his enemies in PvPE as he would do in PvP.
Make him the slowest, so that nobody hits his freeze and fucks it up

Q: Can't I just remove all my hit rate ?
A: No. Even if your attack is dodged, or blocked, or anything else - the ice will still break.

Q: Where does this work?
A: Everywhere.

Q: I put all my speed on Toshiro, making him slow seems impossible
A: I feel ya. He's the fastest partner in the game, suddenly having to make him slow can be a major pain. Let me give you some ideas as to what you can do:

- Remove shoes from his equiptment
- Remove his mod soul
- Change his speed mods ( Will cost some coupons to change, but can be changed back to speed for free. Can be useful if you really want to do it on a void with exclusive frags )

Q: Is it failsafe to do ?
A: No. If Toshiro combos, it will fail since someone will break it.

Q: What do I need to do this ?
A: Here's a list of stuff you need at a minimum:
- A fury generator ( Keisuke or Shinso Gin )
- T1 for said fury generator
- Enough fury stones to make sure Toshiro gets to skill from 25/37 flurry
- Enough crit on Toshiro to make sure he gets 75 flurry every round ( Or use both Keisuke and Shinso )

Basically, use Toshiro if your team are trash enough to tank void. Easiest, effortless and fastest way to do more damage in void.

Thanks though, now all weak asses who stacks Muken will follow this step and void will end much sooner for those who can afford Toshiro, when everyone of them having Muken not worse enough.

On another note how much gold would you need for Toshiro ? I know his normal price is 40k but don't really know for how much you can get him at bankai power

It's not a bug though. It's just a creative out reach that someone found to make Toshiro break Void. Just like how Muken breaks void just by being himself, if you take away that freeze/stun for void it'll just effect Toshiro overall in pvp as well. Wouldn't it?

It is a bug, no partners should be effecting enemies in PvE events.

If this bug is fixed, more players will benefit in void, rather than ends in 10 seconds.

Now this guy exposed the trick and more people will do this for their own benefit, which at the same time, take it from those that couldn't do this. This info is nothing but creating problems everywhere.

this has been working since the release of handsome toshiro, so i doubt they will make any change

Muken with high defense and high attack is the problem. This hit was 3.77b damage. Most of the damage was from Muken. I did over 10b and 1-shot VR the time the enemies had no block.

Muken def is not that high actually. He is tanky when people stack enough def on him. When I was having 520k kido def and with Hasch def boost, I still got hit pretty hard and died within 3-4 rounds without lvl 100 exclusive skills. So, you still need to build him up pretty good to take the damage well. If you don't, doesn't matter how good of a damage you can do, it's still minimal.

Now, if you have this Toshiro, you don't have to build him up that well anymore and just work on pure damage, because the enemy won't be able to attack. Give you better chance to survive.

You forgetting block? If you can't survive the block you still won't do any damage besides tosh freezing enemies while they burn from rj.

yeah that's what I meant by better chance to survive, block damage you once, with Toshi, you don't get attacked by block AND skills/normal attack. If you have enough hp, you can be healed and shit keeps going.

Well, all they have to do is change the coding from 20 starting rounds to 5 starting rounds.

Would be great if they add auto in too... I was out tonight with friends, hard to play this event through phone and this Queue is Full thing is pissing me off.

It is rare, but you can survive ES also. This is an old screenshot, but I had a few partners survive the first ES skill, then just Mayuri survived the second ES skill. He did die the 3rd time the ES used skill.

that's why I suggest the starting round is 5 instead of 20. For sure end, instead of having anyway to by-pass it.

Wouldn’t making the VR chars immune to freeze fix the problem?
Removing freeze from tosh would make him basically useless in comparison to other supports ^^

If they make it immune to freeze, just to be fair and make it immune to burn and poison... you know... that's not a good thing for everyone, they will for real do 100 damage every time.
Hence, making it ends in 5 rounds, work like a charm in ES. Start @ 5 rounds, end @ 0 round. Done. No one can dodge nor stop the rounds end. Not only stop people from being a noob and uses freeze as cheap trick, but also making OP people from doing 50-80% damage per hit.

Tbh, i would say that dot is a big part of doing events, burn, poison and mutilate are (if you take away freeze anyways) the biggest reason anyone (Or rather, lower bp vip players) do any damage.
Without it, yea the high lvl OP players would do aot less damage, but a low lvl or just not 9m bp player would basically do 0 damage and the whole void event becomes useless for them...
Though you *do* have players like Kunpachi who are just op as heck, even if they are vip 0 lol. (Hes consistently top 3-5 on my mains void, his byakuya and his deathmod do so much freaking damage lol xD )

Bingo, 30% of final damage.
Your normal attack 300k becomes 390k with the freeze.
