Can't put Sajin into Formation

I've recently equipped Sajin from Tavern and I for some reason can't put him into battle formation? I still have to yet put equipment on him since I recently got Ichibe from the previous event but other than that, I haven't done much to Sajin until I wanted to put him in.

Help?

First and foremost have you unlocked full formation (max 5 characters + main). If that is not the case this is a bug and should be reported.

It's nothing much, just says 'Partners in assistant team can't join battle'

I don't really know what that means as I've said I haven't gotten a chance to mess around with Sajin lol

It means Sajin has been placed as a bonds partner (the assistant team) and needs to be taken out before you can put him in formation.
He should be in here:




Just hit the red X to remove him.
