You can't use them directly in your backback you need to talk to Hachigen Ushooda who is the game's blacksmith (he is on the right side of the base next to Unohana, Shinji and Nemu) . Then you will see all gears that you can create at your level

Oh yes sorry to spirit forge a set you need to go in your reinforce page and select the tab spirit forging the first set you can spirit forge is the shadowkill set but you will need more than one shadowkill stone to spirit forge them the number change with the level of the set and the weapon need more stones to spirit forge than the others items

New problem. I'm have a blue boots 50lvl (new, no reinforced), and can Spirit Forging.
