How important is Wisdom for a Vanguard?

I've been pretty much neglecting this all together as I try to build up my mains (Kido) wisdom.

I always figured it'd be lower in the needs section, but I just took a look at that partner guide and it's one of the first attributes mentioned.

wisdom is very important for a avanguard because you get more strategy def.

Depends who your vg is. Komamru and Shinji would benefit quite a bit from wisdom for example. Sometimes it is smarter though to use hogyuku to increase your strategic def. etc. or mod soul, hollow soul map etc. And finnaly your formation and build matter, what is your focus, do you need a strong tank or would you rather invest in more attack.

For defensive vanguards ok but for offensive vanguards it's not important

Figured as much. I have Toshiro and gave him a flawless kido defense stone, but he has no wisdom spirit stones. I'm actually pretty low on wisdom spirit stones. My support has nothing over 4.

as you rank with your prestige titles it will up your immune rate will i  which will help your kido defense so you can neglect them for awhile till you face overpowered kido players.

The only two people ranked above me both have kido mains. Maybe I should have paid more attention

Yeah depending on players you are fighting can totally change the need for wisdom on vg or not :x

In my opinion it's only important in King of Hollow souls to give it to a VG attacking in 1v1, other than that, keep your wisdom for your wisdom partners.
