PAY 900 Gold for relampago 80 set

I currently have 7 tokens of the third reio guy and tomorrow is the level 80 relampago set.  I could try my luck and see if I win against first two players but since I need exactly 5, i won't risk it because I'd have to pay 110 more gold if I lose to get this set.  
So my question, if I autowin tomorrow on all tries, 180X5 to get perfect win on 1st 3 opponents I'd get level 80 relampago set.  now that's gonna cost me around 900 gold and I've spent like 500 gold already on fury stones.  So, is it worth it to get relampago set and waste 900 gold for it?  

Currently im level 91.  I know level 90 event gear is better but it's a lot more expensive.  What do you guys think, go for it or save my gold instead?

Am 106 and i still use my Set on one of my partners.
I would say am pretty pleased with that set. To me its worth it.

only two sets i would recommend is 80 and 100 if your not tryna be an OP spender and want good stats

No, I dont and wont be an OP spender.  I was thinking about getting the level 90 sets from spin wheel event but those are taking forever to return.  

So i wont bother with those.  What troubles me its 900 gold for that set.  Its a lot of gold for me.  Wouldnt it be better to try my luck on next reio, maybe I get it cheaper.

Am not say you SHOULD get it. I just think its a go idea.
There is also a chance you wont get it another time either.
Plus if you do get it next time thats 2 Legendary sets you will have.
What do you plan on spending 900 gold on anyway?

I just cant think of anything else worth gold.   other than stones lol

Exactly that, stones.  In star wishes, sometimes all i need is to spend like 400 or 500 gold and I get the high level 8 or 9 stones.  Also, I already have one set of level 80 gear.  It's just that I never thought I'd have such bad janken luck.  I imagined wasting around 500 or 600 gold total, not this amount.

Also, I was thinking of getting the level 90 gear from spin wheel as mentioned.  Those are better than the level 80 gear, though there's no sure way to know when those will return.
