Regarding Rukia

I can't put her into my formation o.o Everytime I try to do so, it says 'Partners in assistant teams can't join battle'. Can someone please help me solve this problem?

My formation is Yachiru (Manic Blade), Renji (Ghost Blade), Me (Kido), Ichigo (Spirit Blade), and Nemu (Kido). I tried replacing Nemu with Rukia and it didn't work. Tried removing others too, but it would always say 'Partners in assistant teams can't join battle'.
