Discount frenzy question.

I know this is too soon to say as the eur servers just reset, but I'm here because as I've seen the prizes reset very often, so I'm gonna go right to the question.  In discount frenzy I see it has shinso gin as a prize.  Shinso gin original price is 20000 gold but the current price is 18000 gold.  Now b elow it it says that current discount is 90% and least discount is 50%.  When I click on refresh discount it says I have to spend 600 gold, so I didn't do it.  

SO MY QUESTION, can shinso gin get a discount of 90%? if so he'd be like 2000 gold.  I'm pretty sure I'm mistaken but maybe somebody can explain this.

they mean discount price with 'discount' --> 90%discount = 18.000gold instead of 20.000

Yeah, I had a feeling that would happen.   Too good to be true.  In any case as I've seen, the price can drop up to 50% then.  Though I'm not sure how much tries it would take to drop it there.
