Soul Skill 5, 8 or 9 for PvE?

Hello, I'm currently somewhat confused, because I've recently got Shinigami Kensei from the Pyramid.

I'm using Zangetsu and Kensei for PvE and do intend to continue to do so (Kensei might become a vanguard replacement someday, but atm he's core anyway, and Zangetsu might have to make way for Muramasa if my enemy continues the speed-battle with our hikifunes).

This Situation confuses me, because Skill 8 would (afaik) waste the combo chance provided by Kensei, while Skill 9's atk-dmg-buff wouldn't (or would it??) Stack with Zangetsu's 18% ATK Buff.

Can somebody help me out?

The Skill 9 and zangetsu stacks what it dosen't stacks are parteners like cute orehime or white ichigo with dmg buff that don't stack with the zamp so i guess you could try playing with the 9 skill it will increase his dmg by 15%

are you sure you're talking about Zangetsu's Skill buff and NOT the passive bonus?

If that's true and they stack, it would be really cool.

Zangetsu gives dmg rate buff, while main gives atk buff. Both are working fine simultaneously
