Thats basically what ppl do with him in pvp.. just pump up his block and hp through bond and evo and just watching others die due to block dmg... He is otherwise pretty much useless once he attacks And I seriously doubt first form of ken can beat ikkaku in pve dmg and noza beating shura ken unless of course you have tensa/senbon or katen which doesnt harm vanguard damage then yeah they are probably better but still it doesnt beat 3 partners reflecting dmg back to ES compared to just one even if he has slightly higher damage.

exactly why I have stacked my 2 assaulters with minor block sets (they average about 40% block, once I get CSB Kenny, they should block nearly 100% of the time, right?)
Yeah basically, you need somewhere around 30-40% block to block very often with shura ken in your team. Of course the more the better. When I got him I had somewhere around 35% block on all and he helped a lot. Now I have 90%+ on all + orihime buff so I block practically all the time
