Yea the only downside I could see is lack of players for stuff like Guild Wars (Title), 1,000 win streak Title, and a few others. Also, stuff like alliance blood battle / campaign but all could be done with extra characters just to get them ready for when a merge happens. That is what I'm doing on my server personally. Dumping in Reistsu about 40-50mil silver daily and just trying to BP up until we finally get merged, but could careless if we did.

Yea, if my friend didn't get bored and quit he would of basically been in the position I'm in now. Very lucky. Just happy that since I came back and decided to start fresh I pretty much blew by my old character (about 6 months of time invested VIP 3) to my new character (VIP 1 and about 84 days). Currently sitting at 632k BP, 60 Reistsu level 92 after ES today and 1,500 until Red Named, 1.1mil Prestige saved for Mugetsu.
