HIRE bond partners careful

So today I found out the unfortunate event that I can't put my expired partner to aid for bond to another partner.  I had a TSI ichigo bonding with shinigami uruhara.  All good and all that.  So I was using him for the day, because well I hired him.  So I went out for a snack, I return to find out the partner has expired, o.k. I guess.  I go to put him in bond aid partner and surprise oh suprise I can't.  

I forgot to put him in aid before it expired, I thought I had some time left but even if I didn't I was positive I could put him there.  Now I can't and basically I spent 350 gold for nothing.  He can't aid, he ain't good for nothing as is, unless I spend another 350 gold.

Though this got me thinking, if the partner has expired and is in aid bonding another partner do the stats still take effect?  Because before I'm positive you could take out the expired partner from aid and put it back on and you got the stats but  now you can't take out the partner, if you do you wonh't be able to put it back on unless you rehire.  So I can't help to wonder if the expired partner still manages to aid a partner even if expired?

Though it sucks you can't put them for bond aid.  Before you could, but now if you're not careful and if you don't put the bond partner in aid in time before it expires then you're doomed.

Honestly even though I'm free to play for the most part. I have to say that I'm shocked that they even allow them to give you a bonus of any kind while expired even while being added to boost stats.

Yeah but that makes sense though right?
It's expired after all and I'm glad we even get a bonus when it's expired

Yes I get that part of it but if we're speaking of you rent for 1 day just to bond it for the stats then your not really spending much for such a lasting effect. I mean after gogames track record on making you buy power you'd think they would of rendered the stat bonus null once expired just to make sure you keep spending but you didn't hear me say anything if they happen to change it down the road.

I wish I noticed this earlier.  Spent 350 gold for the sole purpose of bond.  I used him for a while, then forgot to put him back in bond aid, now I'm screwed, can't do anything except spend another 350 gold to put him in bond aid and leave him there.
