IMO, no.
Then again at this point I'd say no to all the event partners. Some do look tempting but if you compare them to partners ingame and look at the price tag, hell no.
Most of the event partners are really situational anyway.

I really wanted Gin but think I will be better off pumpin 20k gold into stones.

his attack skill gives the following "Attack enemy vanguard, amp 300%, decrease enemy's vanguard 25% block and 15% def (three turns), recover self fury 25". personally i think there are others worth looking at too besides rejnji's bankai form but it really depends on the players play style.
