Nope. Turns out it was a bug. It never was supposed to be VIP 4 in the first place.

Bullshit, they are lying, and here is proof.
On the screenshot below, is the VIP requirement to skip stage battles, which is VIP 4 on CN server.

CN also has Trial battle skip at VIP 2 but for us it is at VIP 6.

And some other things that have different VIP requirements over there and here.
