pretty much yes, as you need to buy another piece of the ultimate set which is 50 gold a piece totalling to 300 gold for another ultimate set making Nanao a character that's worth 336 gold in that sense considering you need two ultimate sets, a lvl requirement, and sado as a prequisite.

How do you get the Gold armor from the forge? I am lvl 50 and i can't seem to figure it out.

This's how you do it step by step:
* Forge "Shadowkill" gear* Buy "Shadowkill" stones from soul hunt
* Go to spirit forge and select "Shadowkill" gear
* If meets the prequisites, you successfully have a "Spirit:Shadowkill" gear which is the lvl50 equivalent of Golden gear.

Ps., Prequisite is corresponding amount of "Shadowkill" stones required for spirit forging the specified "Shadowkill" gear

No, I'm just trying the basic purple set that you can get for 36 gold. How do I get the "Shadowkill" stuff cuz I really want this quest to go away: Spirit Forging Weapon Spirit Forge equipment once. I have Shadowkill purple materials, but can't figure out where to use them or how to use them to make items with them.

You go to the dude w/ the forge icon on top of him. Then craft your own shadowkill stuff via materials and required component.
20 poison shadow stone + 5 shadowkill materials makes the equivalent to a lvl50 purple crafted gear. Then from that point on, you can spirit forge if you have the stone components.

I'm pretty sure they mean the gear that becomes available at lvl 50

Just wait till 50, then craft two purple sets, problem solved, but by that time, Nanao isn't that good, lets face it xD

i think it's like a box at your inventory and you have to open it

I purchased a set that cost 36 gold from the ultimate shop, but I cant activate it or find it anywhere
