Swap Ichigo to Ichibei - worth the trouble?

Im using Ichigo with 136% block (can add another 24% but dont wana burn coupons on him), he's a bit stacked but i will inherit him sooner or later anyway. Im overall fine with him, but he's lacking psy def to hold off stacked assulters. Im not sure if it be worth to swap him for Ichibei or the difference wont be notable.

Since Ichibei aleredy have decent stamina telent i had in mind to swap out his mods this way:
12%hp > block
stun immune > keep it
bonus def for lost hp > not sure, does it stack for every 20% or just once?
15%hp > block
25% def > keep it
death skill > block (i heard it is bugged and is hard to not die before this fat guy anyway)
silence immune > block

I also have question about his skill. If we assume that he is slowest in team, will his def-buff last till the next turn my characters attack (similar to Kenseis combo) or will it just vanish the same turn it was used?

The def buff is like all buffs. After your character goes that round the buff falls. So it depends on its speed for how long you have it.

lol ya'll seen my ichigo against an ichibe ... soo that should make u decide ... i'd continue to work on ichibe slowly if i was you xichano because ichibe's growths and base stats and exclusive growth is greater than ichigos but if you already have ichigo extremely high up in exclusives then don't stop with it.. keep rolling with ichigo.. that's what i'm doing

also don't change the immune to silence to block.. you will need it if u encounter shini kensei or anyone else like him.. if you're silenced u don't get to skill and if ur silenced then kensei hits u with disarm.. u can't move for a round and he'll keep landing them.

So in other words it vanish when my characters launch their next attack, not after the round ends?

Yes. So if you want it to last longer. Have slower people. It's how all buffs work. It counts for the end of the partners round (after they attack) not the entire round

Yeah, i've seen you in ToT. Altrough at your level things work a bit differently. My current problem is that if a stacked assulter somehow survives my Senju then Ichigo cant hold off VG + A even if he block - due to quite squashy def.
