but that still won't stop them from doing it assuming the staff does do something about it they can ...
No one can not do anything but the player, as I said common sense is our best weapon for this kind of "scam".
GoGame can't do anything but ban the current account and check if there is any other account realated to that email, they can't do IP Ban.
IP Ban will not only affect the user they want to ban, there could be two scenarios:
Static IP: If the scammer has an Static IP, and GoGames ban that IP he won't be able to play until he use another IP, but the problem is, that if you are close to that guy and share the same IP you won't be able to play neither.
Dinamic IP: If the scammer has a Dinamic IP, and GoGames ban the first IP he just need to turn of his modem and turn on again, this will change his IP and can log in back with another accout, but the problem is that all people who use the first IP will be banned too.
All they can do is make an announcement about that and ask to the people to do not share their account information, as I said Common Sense is our best weapon in this case. Think this account is your bank account, your diary, your most hidden secrets, you won't like someone knows your passwrods, your secrets.
