Server Merge 86-89

Hey Everyone,

I wanted my first post on the official forums to be two-fold: Introduction & Discussion.

First off I'll introduce myself -

My name is John, but I go by Dissented in most games I get heavily involved in.  I'm 25, living in the Carolinas, a college graduate and I believe most importantly a gaming / movie / anime enthusiast.  I played the Naruto version of this game for quite awhile and became familiar with the mechanics, but quickly lost interest once the game went a little wonky (you know what I'm referring to).

Back to Bleach - I'm originally from Server 88, but I guess in the merge I don't know where I sit.  I'm an officer and co-founder of a Server Day 1 guild Carpe Noctem, which was the leading guild on s88.  I'm a paying player, but not anywhere near the extremes of some others.  I next wanted to welcome everyone to the merged server and I happily look forward to our time together in the future.  I'm always happy to help newer players and their questions, but I'm no expert (it all comes from experience or asking those that came before me).


I would really love it if we could start talking as a server and help one another out, in turn everyone profits.  What tends to happen is the exact opposite, we're in it just for ourselves and only show up for events and on our schedules.  For the amount of resources that players (myself included) allocate to this game, there's no reason not to help one another.

Hey Dissented, Shintaro from s86 here. I want your honest opinion. I'm almost at the point of being able to recruit A new VG and a new Assaulter. My original plan, was to go with Shinji Hirako and Ikkaku. Do you think this is a good idea, and what would you recommend I go with. My current set up is Yorichi, Momo, Rangiku, Main, Sado.

Not to be a stickler about this. But could you provide a reason.
