Also, as in changing the team I'm using right now, maybe dropping underperforming Ichigo for someone like a Rukia, or I might just wait till I get Yoruichi...but that's still 500 gold reishi away.

Its obviously Momo if you want the best PvP formation. At lvl 50 its all about Momo's speed and how faster she is compare to other's main character. Momo has the best ability to stunned the assult line for 3 round which is very very useful in PVP. Althought she might be useless in events, if you build her correctly, she can be useful anywhere

rengi is very good overall, and with rukia, he is a lot better

If you would like to give us your formation it would be help tho. Consider that Momo's stun chance depend on opponent's level since for ranking up in arena you will face almost same level as you or higher. IMO there is no doubt, first buy Renji afterwards if you wish to preform better in daily events u should go for Rukia and you don't need to worry about partners till lvl70.

If you have topped up atleast once and got Rangiku its Rukia you dont need to buy Renji because Rangiku's and Renji's damage is almost equal and Momo is used mostly for PvP

Depends on your build. With good enough speed and 7th skill, Lisa and Ichigo you can actually take out enemy assaulters very quickly, someone on my server does that and is hard to counter when they're faster.

Honestly, they are all good when used right, and that is the point of this game. Everyone says X char is better for whatever reasons. But when you build them right and have the right set up any character is good.

it is hard to say which is best between rukia and Momo because momo has a control attribute ability in her "power attack" where rukia has Unlimited after she gets it
