Just wondering, if I already have red Ikkaku on my squad for PVE, is there any point in investing in red Kenpachi? I'm thinking of saving up till I can get tavern Ichigo.

ikkaku and tavern byakuya is much better than kenpachi, u can use both for pve and pvp, ikkaku exclusive skills is monster in PVP, while byakuya exclusive skills is like ikkaku w/ out exclusive, so both pvp and PVE good

It would kind of depend on your set up. If you were to be using 0-3-2 for PvE (which you definitely should be) the Block from Tavern Kenpachi can up your damage. That said, if you use Cute Orihime,(which is free from soul cultivation) Tavern Kenpachi wouldn't be as good. I guess, it'll be a bit more damage than Ikakku as he has higher growth rates, but the block on Kenpachi would be wasted (and if he is slower than Cute Ori, it'll be worse as it'll overwrite the 30% block with a worse 10% block)

tavern Kenpachi is garbage for most teams...  cute Orihime is a MUCH better choice for the (better) block boost, plus she frees up your main to use the 8th skill, and boosts fury at the same time

Tavern Ikkaku, Tavern Byaukua w/exclusive skill, Main w/8th skill, Tavern Kiuske, Cute Orihime

your whole team will skill every round if either of your supports hit crit...

A few good alternatives you can get for free are:
Zabimaru Renji
Pan Grimmjaw (VIP1 required)
Quincy U
Shin Isshin
Sexy Yourichi

and I'm sure I'm missing a few other good ones, especially if you bring them to exclusive skills

honestly, I kept cute orihime in my team until my block was maxed on all my assaulters, and I didn't need that extra fury every round to skill every round...  she's very possibly end game for tavern partners (as long as you don't UBP)
