Lvl 80: Uruhara or Ikkaku?

Hi Guys,

I'm here seeking some advice for my next recruit. I'm at level 76 now and will be level 80 maybe in a week or less. Thus, level 80 tavern will be opened and I have only 1k of gold reishi saved up. My big question is, who should I recruit 1st? Uruhara or Ikkaku (from Tavern)?

First of all, here's a little background. I'm not a heavy gold user, and will only use if I see that the event or rewards are worth it. Currently I'm VIP5 but I'm really more of a pay-a-little-2-play kind of player. I'm more PVE oriented but I would also like to have a capable PVP team for my BP (~190k), doing CSB and HMA. I'm not much worried about Arena ranking though, I ranked 4-5. Really can't win Top 3 cause they are Golds ahead of me.

My formation are:

PVE (0-3-2) - Sogyo	PVP (1-2-2) - Kazeshini
(A) Rangiku	(V) Sado
(A) Main	(A) Main
(A) Renji Abarai	(A) Renji Abarai
(S) Nanao Ise	(S) Momo Hinamori
(S) Rukia	(S) Rukia

* Rukia will be mod4 (+20 initial fury) once I reach lvl 80.
Or maybe there is another option for me that I didn't know it. Please feel free to discuss.

Since you will need both for pve , doesn't really matter which you recruit first , you will use them for long time . Urahara will replace your Nanao and Ikakku will replace Rangiku. If you want also some boost in pvp get Ikkaku first since he wont give Komamura chance activate his skill and it will be easier for you to kill him.

thanks! nice advice on the ikkaku stopping sajin from buffing up. would be a big plus for PVE as well as PVP!

Go for ikkaku first he's really good, and also urahara after he'll be a master piece after lvl100 if you plan on taking fury stones, since you have sogyo you definitly vip so it's worth starting t1 fury reaching lvl100

Get Urahara ASAP. He needs to be fully modded in order to reach his max potential.

hmmm contradicting priorities. since both is very useful, can i know how many fragments are needed for both ikkaku and urahara's mod?

yea im VIP5 and starting to save those fury stones one at a time. currently have 8. and just got sogyo from this treasure map event.

urahara to replace rukia in pvp when you reach lvl 100.
get urahara asap and start modding him using the free chance while having the current formation, ie keep him out of your formation and get him modded, his final mod same as that of rukiia gets unlocked at lvl 100 only, so by then you would have enough fragments for his final mod, sorry i dt remember the number but i recruited him as soon as i reached his tavern and by lvl 98 i had fragments for his final mod.
and if interested you can use rukia(till lvl 100)/kisuke(after lvl 100) as your pvp support to give your assaulters T1 fury using minimal fury lvl stones.

once u reach lvl 100, you can use your final modded rukia and urahara for ES/ryoka hence enabling your assaulters to do more skill attacks .

next you need is ikkaku yo replace rangikku. he will get you more damage hence more exp+silver.

if you have reishi for only one partner, get ikkaku and replace rangikku/renji in pve/pvp, and then go for urahara asap.

thanks for putting it out in details. as my golden reishi is quite limited at the moment, i will follow ur advice and recruit ikkaku 1st. getting more damage output in events will churn more silver. then i can use those silver to quickly farm another 1.2k golden reishi for urahara.

first gratz on the zanpakto and as ajoalex better prepare your lvl100 team from now, if you see btw the reio event go for the 8 fury stones day, if i remember you'll need to top up 300 gold and spend 500 and some other stuff to get them.
