Stark build

For some reason I'm starting to think I'm building stark incorrectly. Currently I have a defensive set up on him (yes i know he's an offensive vanguard) just i feel like if i switch to more offense it might make him squishy seeing as zangetsu is my main zanpakto and I don't have senbon or hyorinmaru.

My current stones on him are : str/wis/sta/counter/block/hit

On all his gear I have str/sta/block stats

Any suggestions as to how else to build him? or am i on the right path

maybe  some break def so he ll get blocked less

take out hit and wis for break def + crit if u want offensive

Honestly anything over 190% hit rate is usually wasted, so merge his stones up to where you're around there or even a bit lower. This'll give you a bit more room to work with. Definitely do like Burak said and take the wis stones off of him. They likely aren't making enough of a difference to warrant them being there in the first place. Break def and crit are definitely good additions.

So yeah, more or less I agree with Burak, except keep some hit on him so he's not missing the enemy vanguard all the time since he can't gain fury if he doesn't hit.

That hit rate is wasted once you kill Aizen, cause with 220% I'm not even close to hitting first minnion. And I would have to disagree with you on the wisdom stones. Well if you go on offensive route yeah, but for defensive they are def needed

I said the hit rate's wasted because he's talking about for PvP as far as I can tell. Also no offense but if his zanpakuto is zangetsu then using starrk against people in hollow souls would be absolutely pointless.

As far as the wisdom goes, starrk is an offensive vanguard primarily. And his wisdom growth rate is absolute crap so making wis stones worth it on him would be expensive and most likely not worth it/impossible for someone that's not gonna top up for hyorin or senbon.

Btw since you mentioned Aizen, it took me about 250% hit for first minion, 280% hit for second minion, and 320% hit for Aizen himself. Just to give you an idea of what you'll need for each one.

if you have socket stones for extra stone slots, feel free to use wisdom, otherwise wisdom is a NO NO

Yeah definitely. I thought about mentioning that too, but from the original post I got the feeling he's not gonna be going socket crazy so i didn't even bring it up.

Ok I'll scrap his wisdom stones then but now I'm confused as where the hit rate part comes in. Currently his hit rate is at 183% with 6 level 6 hit rate stones. When you said merge what exactly did you mean. Also would using SWP Ken with zangetsu in hollow souls be a good idea? Or should i then work on getting senbon/hyorin instead?
