Block Damage Reduction

I've looked through threads, and this just doesn't seem clear. Does anybody know how this works/how much it reduces damage? I understand the reflect damage is like a normal attack from your character who blocked, but how much does block help reduce damage? Is it on the magnitude of aid's damage reduction? Does block ever help when damage is not reflected or does that just mean it didn't help at all?

block only reduces dmg with it reflects the attack
the dmg reduced is like a % of the enemy attack power
idk the exact number but when i attack for 600k and i get blocked i still end up doing like 100k-130k?
jus depends
other times its like 80k lol

The hit from wave 71 Ryoka gets about 850k damage back at them when block goes off. No clue what the attack amount is but they can 1 hit 650k hp main.

If I'm recalling correctly I tried testing it out a long while back and it reduces it down to 1/5 of the damage you'd normally receive from the attack. In comparison aid rate reduces it to 1/10th and also spreads that 1/10th between 2 partners. Meaning they will both be taking 1/20th each

1/5 is still really good. That is also consistent with what noctus said.

Too bad there aren't aid stones. (Probably better there isn't :/)

Lol if there were aid stones I'd make sure and have 90+ on all my partners. Fights would last 20 round lmfao. It would make things sooo different.
