slavery battle power

i know the title is wierd but it is the truth. i beat someone in the arena and only lose my vangaurd but then when i go to catch them i get beaten quite easily. as well as that i was a slave to someone and i used all 3 resistance chances and failed before asking for help, i then tried to plunder them of their other slaves and did it easily not failing even once to catch a slave, this all happened in the same half hour and i didn't do anything to change my team like reinforce or move soul stones and the other person wasn't online. as well as that when i'm fighting some one to catch that person i seem to fail more often than when i try to catch their slave's. So do the slavery battles have some kind of affect on your teams power or is it just me?

I had the same feeling sometimes, people who I defeated in Arena becomes a little bit stronger when tried to slaved them... BUT also the "arena defeat" sometimes depends on luck (i.e in slave battle his vanguard blocks/dodge several hits...). I repeat, just a feeling and isn't a issue for me at all.

I think this might have to do with your Reiatsu making your stats a lot higher in Arena while there's no such thing in Slave battles ( I think )

Maybe that must be the difference, actually i have the same average of win/lose at slave/arena so isnt different to me but its possible that reiatsu doesnt afect slave system

Rei is not taken into account during slavery battles. Rei only boosts you in Evil Spirits, Ryoka, Protect Seireitei, Guild Wars, Arena.

Palace, Espada, Slavery, Instances ect do not get the reiatsu buff. I don't think it applies on Alliance Campaign either though not sure.

the thing about that though is that we both have the same reiatsu level, it also doesn't explain how I lose to him 3 times in a row as his slave then win 3 times in a row when capturing him
