Currently i run senbonzakura
Sajin
Kido main - isshin - berserker renji'
Kenpachi unohana

With this event, its kind of temtping to consider getting shinigami kensei, is he that much of an upgrade or is waiting for a future partner/event better (was thinking of waiting to get lots of stones)

he is alot better cause beserker renji is mainly for pve

Yes because its random how his skill hits, you can counter renji but setting up 2 of your partners to have the lowest HP in advance and he will attack those 2 only first.

if ur isshin goes first, and if ur be.renji has max 25% less speed than him, then he could atmost clear 4 ppl in first round provided he had t1 . i think u can wait for xmas to see if any other event partners came out . wis on kensei is so low btw

ik that yeah, ive been doing exactly what u say, beating people with that strategy, extra rounds are ridiculous with them

I am pretty confident Kensei + Isshin is the new OP.

Running all the permutations for multiple chains is looking not only promising, but also pretty scary. You need a degree in mathematics to figure this stuff out though.

I'm not the best person to answer that. Anyone else want to comment?

It depends.

So you are unlikely to get a better Free Kensei moment to top up. I would estimate the value somewhere around a 60% Ultimate Charge return. If you plan on topping up more then 20k, you might want to wait for Ultimate Charge. If you want Kensei, this is the time to get him IMHO.

You get a bunch of free stuff, a free Kensei, about 28k gold and you can save that for Anniversary Feast and get more stones + either another character, or Zan, or whatever.

but then you only get 1 extra turn per partner per round. so if ur using them then remove isshin for a faster partner to utilize that combo chance.
or remove kensei to and add bya to t1 first to make up for the low speed with isshin.

Not exactly.

Main
Kensei
Isshin

1: Kensei skills. Has natural 28% ( + gear if you wanted to go higher ) combo chance.
A: Kensei Combos, Isshin skills and has 50% combo rate ( Initial Kensei buff + natural ).
AA: Isshin combos, Main combos, Kensei combos, Isshin attacks( has 50% combo rate again frp),

In this scenario, neither Main nor Isshin have even used their natural attacks for the turn yet.

2: Kensei skills. Does not combo.
A: See 1A, but Isshin used natural.

Same scenario, but Main is the only one who hasn't gone naturally.

Essentially, there are a bunch of breakpoints that if hit, result in +1 attack ( 2 attacks for 2 assaulters, and 3 attacks for a 3rd assaulter ), and if you hit 2 breakpoints, the entire chain starts over again ( 4 attacks for 2 assaulters, 5 attacks for a 3rd assaulter.

this is the same as
Main
Any other partner
Isshin.

for 5 rounds, both the setup will do max 2 attacks per round regardless or n number combo/skills etc.  cos i tried with be.renji, isshin and main with 8th. it was just of no use cos they anyways get to do combo from isshin every round.

also tried with sexy.yorui-main-isshin/kisuke, so that would mean isshin gets to skill via normal turn atleast. and still they do just 2 hits per partner (in assaulter lane) per round. extra turn just doesn't stack for me.

do correct me if i am wrong, i would like to know this too.

It is the same, mostly. But the breakpoints without Kensei are 30% lower.

Basically, your combo breakpoint with main will always be +30%. Your combo breakpoint with isshin when he skills the first time will be +30%. Your just increasing the odds of 2 different breakpoints by that amount, which ends up being significant.

The extra turn skills do not stack, you are correct, but it does apply to Isshin when he skills first ( Combo is activated before attack/skills ) and to your main the 2nd attack, since the first attack will be isshin proc, which lets kensei rebuff the team ( giving the main whos isshin buff just fell off, +30% combo ).

With Isshin + Kensei, you will hit twice with main, twice with kensei/isshin, and three times with kensei/isshin ( Who gets the 3rd attack depends on who hits a breakpoint ) something like 85% of time time. In this instance you are only getting 1 total extra attack over a normal Isshin team. You do however start the next round with full fury on everyone and Kensei's buff.

However, if you hit multiple breakpoints, you will attack 4 times with main, 4 times with kensei/isshin, and 5 times with kensei/isshin ( again, depends on who hits the breakpoint ) something like 15% of the time on Turn 1. If you did not hit multiple breakpoints, like the example above, the chances of you hitting 4/4/5 on Turn 2 is like 50% ( because you start the turn with Kensei buff, increasing Kensei's initial combo rate )

Please don't get Kenshit at all.. he's terrible and doesn't deserve to be a red partner.
