of course you can, it's just much easier with protection stone... that's why I've had them since level 50 XD

just to say... the stone is between 50 and 300 gold depending on level... and I make about 7M silver a day from holding first place in soul palace and selling everything I get since all my 90s are max level...
so, about $5 gets you better equipment faster, stupid amounts of silver, and the lack of frustration of spending 3 days to get one level on your level 17 stuff... yeah... I'd say it's worth it XD
