How much cash is required to be vip10

I was looking at how much it would cost to be vip10 and if i did my math right (Not sure if i did so sorry) but it would require 398,600 gold to be vip10? I basically added all the vip amounts together and thats what I got. So next I divided that number by 40,000 gold since its the highest you can buy at one time and that costs 1,000 US dollars and it came down to 9,965 US dollars just to be vip10. Thats a really high number just to be vip10 so can someone ether confirm this or tell me what I did wrong and give me the real amount it would cost to be vip10.
