Some wonderings

Hi I have some wonderings about stats and characers.

First off what do these stats do

Break defense
Block
Counter

I assume that break defense works against one of them. However the thing here is that I cant understand the difference between block and counter since basically either you counter, dodge, get aid or get hit but I see nothing for blocking.

Second why do some vanguard have a modification for getting strategy attack?

Lastly is Tenjiro any good? According to the wiki he is a support type character that gets 38000 physical attack so he seems like kind of a waste.

Break Def goes vs. Block
Counter goes vs. Critical Atk

Break Defense counters Block.
90% Break Defense will never be blocked by a partner with 90% Block.

Block rate is the chance you have to block an attack.
When you block you take a lot less damage and strike back at the partner that you blocked.

Counter resists Critical Strike chance. If you have 90% Counter you shouldn't be crit by someone with 90% or fewer crit.

The language in this game is a bit messed up at times, lost in translation I guess. Generally that means Strategy Defense though, from my experience at least.

Tenjiro is really good. He's the current fastest partner in the game and his Evo was recently fixed, he no longer gets regular attack, he gets strategy attack now.
