yama's ignite vs ichibe

how effective is his ignite since the growth rate is only 25%?
assuming a yama with 300k atk, ichibe with 3mil hp, each burn is only like 75k dmg?
assuming 3 zanpakuto skills/7 round will kill yama one way or another
so depending on yama only for dmg isnt enough?
