Question on accounts

Hi, what's the difference between openly selling an account and saying it's a giveaway while discussing the terms in private?

still, the first makes u banned, and the second is tolerated, as I can see from the threads here...
Anyway, in my humble opinion, the mods should at least give a warning and delete the thread, instead of simply ban the user. I'm not being polemic, just pointing out that we are human beings, we can do something "wrong" without knowing, and being banned is a bit too much, expecially when it's the first time going against the rules.
