I won the 100% rebate and now have enough gold from that to get Katen. Is it worth getting over Bankai Rukia? I have Muramasa at around level 25 fortify and it is Hogyoku-kai. Is her ability to melt Vanguards worth sticking with Muramasa or is Katen too good to pass up?
Yea Katen would be the better one to get imo, plus the squad 0 characters are both cheaper and better than B.Rukia now. Also you could always get Oetsu, he is almost as good at killing vanguards as B.Rukia and is much cheaper, also his last mod is ignore invincibility which would be a nice hiki counter.
I decided to get Katen. I only had enough Souls of Conquest and Souls to get it to Shikai and level 10 fortify. It did already help me beat Bond Stage 8-1. The Vanguard was taking very little damage before since he was gaining 30% defense every round and with Katen I was able to front load enough damage in first few rounds to finally kill him.
