How exactly do you activate bond partners, the requirments are only half shown (his first 3) and what can you bring to the battle is it only your main and the one you wanna activate it for (B.Renji in this case) and can you use zanpakuto or not?
You cant use zanpakuto, it is counted as another character and the requirements visible are enough. I believe the first one was about dmg done and the other one team below 50% hp or something like that.
I don't know the exact needs.

I tried that, the first one says something about 50% damage and I have had both my main and B.Renji do above it.
Do you need to bring the partner they bond with as well or not? I am guessing not since Sado for example needs Yachiru and you cannot use 2 VGs.
